Located within the safety of Ul'dah's walls stands a beautiful bordello housing 'jewels' waiting to be worn by those willing to part with their hard-earned gil. Each one is as spectacular as they are unique— offering the client various cuts, shines, and textures to choose from.

The Sultana’s Minaudière is a brothel created in joint collaboration as a backdrop for several player characters and plotlines. Beyond them the majority of clients and employees, including the owner are NPCs. There is no in-game venue, nor are there any plans for one to be made at this time.Characters are welcome to have heard about or even have visited the brothel before.

Once a courtesan herself, Sara worked her way up the rungs in another Ul'dahan brothel. Saving what coin she could and using her connections as leverage, The Sultana's Minaudière humbly opened in a small building within the city.The madam's stern gaze contrasts her soft heart for her workers. She not only promised them a fair wage, but a place to stay, food to eat, and if shown drive, access to her contacts to give them the chance to learn trades outside of the brothel.As funds filled the worker's and brothel's pockets, she expanded into neighboring buildings. One of which an old bathhouse, giving the brothel additional amenities to attract clients.Though much older now, she has become wiser, running the brothel in what she and her workers consider it's golden age.

With a crease often present between her brows, the irritated-looking woman prefers to be found tending the bar more than taking clients. That is unless she gets to rough them up.When not working she enjoys playing cards with the other ladies and muscles— a much cheaper option compared to the chunk of her income she spends at another local brothel, along with betting in fight clubs. Although she wishes to join in throwing punches, she keeps out of partaking so as not to get injured.If her ex-colleague, Moonstoon comes up in conversation, she’s known to roll her eyes at best. At worst, she’ll curse her name. Or whoever spoke it.

Once a spirited young woman, Pearl was born somewhere in the east. Being displaced by the occupation, she traveled west by ship like many others, landing in Thanalan before heading to Ul'dah. She quickly found a job at the brothel, allowing her to remain within the city's walls with a place to eat, sleep, and work.By the other jewels and muscles alike, she was seen as a little sister— easily befriending even the grumpiest of them. For a few of them, she was also a savior who helped them avoid succumbing to the street rats by bringing them to the brothel and convincing the madam to give them a job.Her progressing illness prevented her from taking clients in the same way the others did. It left her to entertain by engaging in only conversation or playing games. Being good at both, she was able to keep working close to the end of her life, despite being encouraged to rest.She now rests in the lichyard near Camp Dybrone, paid for by the entire brothel pooling together what funds they could. Her headstone is often cleaned and donned with offerings of flowers.
